The rumors are true. New York’s Financial District is changing. In February 2022, the New York Post declared that baby strollers were outnumbering business suits in a part of town known primarily as America’s capital for finance, markets, power lunches, and all things Wall Street. The annual Summer Concert Series on The Rooftop at Pier 17 is one of NYC’s most celebrated open-air concert events, with big-name performances slated throughout the season. The Ronald O. Perelman Performing Arts Center is slated to open in the World Trade Center complex in 2023, and will bring theater, dance, opera, and music to the neighborhood and the greater NYC community.
